Overview of your Retently Account

We've created this "Getting Started" guide to help you set up your workspace, and then build on the basics. There are lots of ways to support your customers in Retently, but we will start with an overview of the basics:

Dashboard - On the Dashboard page, you can view your CX metrics, survey campaign reports, and the latest feedback.

Reports - The Reports page displays an all-time overview of all your survey campaigns at a glance.

Trends - Trends give you the possibility to track and compare the score dynamics of multiple audience segments over time.

Feedback - The Feedback page will store and display all the survey responses that you have received in descending chronological order.

Analytics - The Analytics page has two powerful tools for analyzing customer feedback - the Feedback Topic Analysis and the Feedback Word Cloud.

Contacts - The Contacts page stores all the customers that you have imported to your account.

Accounts - On the Accounts page, you can see an automatically-generated list of your audience's companies.

Outbox - On the Outbox page, you can keep track of all the communication sent to survey respondents through Retently, be it surveys, reminders, or autoresponders.

Queue - The Queue page shows a list of transactional email surveys that were triggered by events via API, Zapier, or transactional integrations, but weren’t sent yet due to the configured delay in the campaign’s Trigger section.

Campaigns - On the Campaigns page you can see a list of all your active and inactive survey campaigns.

Customize and Review your Survey Campaign

Now that you've accustomed yourself to Retently, it's time to Review and Customize your Survey Campaign. Each trial account in Retently comes with a pre-configured Regular Survey Campaign that you can use right away or customize to fit your needs and verbiage.

Depending on the survey channel selected, in Retently there are two types of survey campaigns, they can be Regular or Transactional.

Regular Survey Campaigns are the ones that are being sent or triggered at a specific interval depending on the conditions you've set in Retently.

Transactional Survey campaigns are sent once there is an event in a third-party app.

Those events can come from a multitude of apps, such as Shopify, Chargebee, Hubspot, Zapier, or even API, just to name a few.

In each Survey Campaign, you can edit the survey Template, add your logo, and change the colors, layout, and wording, to fit better your brand and communication strategy. As well, you can create specific Audience rules based on tags and properties (check the Attributes page for more details), customize the campaign schedule and Reminders, as well as set up Alerts and Autoreplies.

Once you adjusted and tailored everything, you can test your newly created survey campaign.

Add Customers to Retently

In Retently you can add customers through multiple different channels, here we will cover just some of them:

Manually - you can add customers manually just by following a few simple steps. This is ideal when you want to add a few contacts for testing or to just slightly adjust your contacts list.

CSV Import - you can use this method to add large lists of customers.

Integration - you can add customers through multiple Integrations, such as Hubspot, Salesforce, and Zendesk.

Survey Campaign - In Retently you can also add customers automatically through your survey campaigns, specifically, that will be in-app, link, and transactional campaigns.

API - you can import customers through API, based on some actions they are taking in your app or on your website.
