Merge trend items

Written by Alex Bitca

In a trend, you can view a list with items which gives you the possibility to analyze the dynamics of a particular item and also compare them among each other in a general way.

But for a more detailed comparison, you can merge and overlay all of the trend's items into a unified graph.

To merge all of a trend's items, click the "Merge graph" option from the top-right corner of your screen.

If needed, you can also manually select the items that you want to merge. To access the item selector simply hover your cursor over a item and the selector icon will appear.

Once you tick the selector on one item, the other items' selectors will appear as well, for convenience.

Select as many items as you need to merge and click the "Merge graph" button. Keep in mind that you should select at least two items in other to be able to merge them.

Once you click the "Merge graph" button you will access another page, with a larger items widget (which is split into 20 milestones). In the items widget, you will see an item line for each item that you have in the selected trend.

You can hover your cursor over a milestone, and a tooltip will display the attributes used in that item as well as the survey campaigns, what was the score that day, whether it increased or decreased from the previous milestone, and how many satisfied, neutral, or unsatisfied respondents you had on that particular day.

Beneath the items widget, you will see a list with all the trends that were merged and their details, such as:

- The color of the item line;

- The attributes used in the item;

- The survey campaigns that the item reads data from.

If you need to see the merged graph of a different trend, you can simply select it from the trend filter in your menu.

You can also click the "Back to trend" button to go back to your trend with a list view of the items.
