Change account owner

NOTE: Only the current account owner can transfer the ownership of the account to another team member.

In order to change the account owner, access the Users page here: https://app.retently.com/settings/team.

Next, find the team member that should become the new owner, and click the [•••] menu icon next to their record.

From the menu, choose the option "Make owner".

After confirming the action, the selected team member will become the new account owner and will have the "Owner" label displayed in their record.

IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind that only a user with an "Admin" role can become an account owner. Therefore, if you need to transfer the ownership of the account to a team member with a "User" or "DPO" role, then you will need to update their role to "Admin".
