Survey credibility is one of the first things respondents look at. By having your survey sent from your domain, respondents feel safer that their answers are received by the business they trust and that the collected information won’t be misused.

By default, Retently will send your surveys from survey@retently.com which is still not sufficient enough to provide a great email delivery rate.

Retently is also throttling surveys sent from survey@retently.com, to prevent being blacklisted by major email providers such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo. The surveys sent from your own domain, however, are not capped or throttled somehow.

To connect your Google Workspace there are a few steps you need to take:

Note: Our native Google integration doesn't support free Google email addresses such as gmail.com or googlemail.com. Please use a business Google email.

  1. Click the "Add Email" Button.

  2. Once you click it, you will be prompted to the Gmail verification window

  3. Select your account and allow the requested permissions.

  4. Go back to your campaign and select from the dropdown the newly added email

  5. Now you can add your email to the Campaigns, Autoreplies, and Replies.

  6. On the Domains & Emails page you can see in how many campaigns and templates is a mailbox used.

Note: There is a limit of 10 mailboxes in your account, if you need more than this, please consider verifying your domain. Just follow the instructions from here.
