To ensure the efficient operation of our system and manage storage effectively, we have implemented a data retention policy for contacts and outbox (sent survey) records. This policy outlines the criteria for automatic data deletion, helping maintain system performance while ensuring compliance with data management practices.

Data Retention Criteria

  • Contacts Retention: Contacts that have never responded to a survey within the last 12 months will be automatically deleted from our system. Unsubscribed/Opted-Out contacts will not be deleted, even if they haven't responded to a survey within the specified time frame. This is crucial to ensure that our system can recognize previously opted-out or unsubscribed contacts, preventing any future survey dispatches to them and respecting their opt-out status.

  • Outbox Records Retention: Outbox records older than 13 or 25 months (depending on your subscription plan) will be automatically deleted. This applies to all sent survey records, ensuring that only recent and relevant data is stored in the system.
