When you upload contacts via CSV and select a campaign that doesn't have any audience rules, it’s important to understand how this affects your survey schedule.

If you select a campaign without audience rules, the contacts you import will automatically match this campaign. This means they will be included in the campaign's survey schedule by default and will be surveyed according to the campaign’s predefined schedule, in addition to any manual surveys you schedule at the time of import.

Example Scenario: Overlapping Survey Schedules

Consider the following situation:

  1. Campaign Schedule Rule: The campaign has a rule to send a survey to new contacts in 3 days.

  2. Manual Survey Schedule: You schedule a manual survey to be sent to the imported contacts in 10 days.

Here’s what will happen:

  • First Survey (Campaign Rule): Since the campaign has no audience rules, the imported contacts will match the campaign immediately. They will receive their first survey in 3 days per the campaign’s schedule.

  • Second Survey (Manual Schedule): The manually scheduled survey will be sent out in 10 days. The campaign’s schedule will not automatically cancel or override this queued survey.

To avoid any unexpected survey overlaps, carefully review the campaign's schedule and your manual survey plans. Understanding how these elements interact will help ensure a smooth and effective survey process.
